What are the "Block Exemption" rules and how do they work?

Basically, the new rules let you to choose where you have your vehicle repaired or serviced - meaning you are no longer tied to a Vauxhall main dealer. In October 2003, the European Commission (EC) passed a law allowing vehicle owners the freedom of having their servicing and repairs done at their chosen workshop.

Providing the garage you choose uses Original Equivalent or genuine parts your Vauxhall warranty will remain valid.

This means that YOU – the consumer – now have the flexibility to choose and will benefit by reducing the amount of money you spend on servicing, maintenance & repairs
